EventIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Solarize Services LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the EventIQ mobile application, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using EventIQ, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an EventIQ account, we collect:

Event & Business Data

EventIQ is a business tool. The following data is created by you and stored on your behalf:

This data belongs to you. We store it solely to provide the app's functionality.

Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription, transaction details (e.g., subscription tier, renewal status) are managed by Apple's App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We receive only a confirmation of your active subscription tier — we do not store your payment card details.

Usage & Technical Data

We may collect limited technical information to operate and improve the service, including device type, operating system version, app version, and crash reports. We do not track your location or use advertising identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Supabase

We use Supabase (hosted on AWS) to store your account and event data. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified. Data is stored in the United States. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives your App Store or Google Play subscriber ID and subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store

On iOS, in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy governs those transactions.

Google Play Store

On Android, in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. Google's Privacy Policy governs those transactions.

Expo (EAS)

The app is built and distributed using Expo Application Services. Expo may collect anonymized crash and diagnostics data. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

Event and business data you create is yours — you can export it at any time using the P&L export feature in the app.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you also have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR. We will address these when we expand availability to those regions.

6. Children's Privacy

EventIQ is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level security policies in our database so that users can only access their own data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
